We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing the wonders of Saba, both above and below the surface. Scuba Diving and Teaching are our specialties. Small groups and short boat rides mean better and more frequent dives: in the morning, deep dives along the spectacular walls and pinnacles; in the afternoon, there are shallower, but no less beautiful, dives along the ledges, drop-offs, and reefs.

LADDER BAY
Saba’s past volcanic activity has created a labyrinth of nooks to explore. Temperature changes are evident if you bury your hand in the sand where the colour changes to a yellow / brown. Common species of coral are Brain, Star and Gorgonian. Encounters with Barracuda are common as are large schools of Tarpon. Keep your eyes peeled as there may also be a chance encounter with a Hammerhead Shark.

A reef structure just outside Fort bay Harbour starting at 5m (15ft) and becoming considerably deeper as you head out. The wall and boulder formations provide interesting swim throughs, the deeper end introduces one of the most unbelievable wall dives. Tube Sponge and Elephant Ear Sponge dominate the site. Lookout for the Hawksbill turtles that will carry on with their daily routine quite content that we are sharing their underwater world.

EAST SIDE
Dependant on weather the Atlantic side offers Saba’s only true coral reefs, close to shore well formed Elkhorn coral formations occur. Developments of hard coral are more common than soft. When the weather is good the visability is exceptional.
